Efficient electric heating options

What are the most efficient electric heating systems available for small homes? We're well insulated but the storage heaters need an upgrade. We're selling our home soon, so it needs to be reasonably priced yet add value to our home and potentially improve our EPC rating.

"If efficiency is measured at just the electric boiler then electric is rated at 100% efficient as no heat is lost and all of it is put into the radiators. However as electricity is highly priced then even at 100% efficient then it is still very costly to use. An air source heat pump would be the better option if the budget allows it as then for every KW/h of electricity you should get 3kw, minimum of heat out seasonally if properly installed. Electric boiler are 1 and 1. I hope that helps!"
