Ask your QuestionThe soakaway for my property isn’t working anymore? Any idea why this might be? How can I diagnose the problem and if I figure out what the issue is? is it something that I could fix on my own or is it the sort of job that I should hire a professional for?

Answered on 1st Feb 2021 - Member since Jan 2021 - report"Hi Pete,
Someone like metro rod would probably be your best bet. They can jet the line and put a camera down to have a look and see whats going on. If it needs replacing they'll give you a quote, shop around though as prices will vary"
"You can start by rodding or jetting pipe work to make sure there isn’t a blockage, depending on how many people live in the property and how many years the soak away has been in for, you could have a soak away that needs re newing as these tend to get completely clogged up after 10 -20 years depending on usage

"Could be a number of things is there trees near by, does your soak-away pipe go under any roads so the pipe is squashed, or it could be a blockage
