"Only with a certain jetter head for clearing roots and then only a certain thickness.after that you have to use a machanical system"

"No you can't completely remove the roots unless a resin liner is installed afterwards.
The jetter will clear the pipe out of roots but they will return unless the pipe is sealed."

"When you have root ingress depending on how bad the problem is sometimes you can get them out with a high pressure jetting if it is just fiberuss roots if they are actually causing a blockage it sounds to me like they will need cutting out and thier are various ways to do this and can somerime be quite expensive. "Drain jetting alone, will not remove roots. You need to specialist cutting Jetta to remove roots which all professional companies would have had this helps."

"It genuinely doesnt unless the van pack has a root cutting nozzle which a lot of companies dont. We use mechanical cutters to remove with cctv along side the machine to remove. Also it may need to be lined/patched to prevent from reoccurring in the future. Hope this helps."

"there are specific jetting attachments that provide this functionality. standard attachments would not be affective enough. a pro would normally have the correct cutting heads with them for the task at hand."

"Yes, HPWJ can remove roots from drains. Although thicker roots may require an excavation to be removed."

"High pressure water jetting with the right nozzle or cutter will remove most roots, if the roots are thicker than 5mm then they normally need a mechanical cutter. Once they’ve been cut out a patch liner should be installed to prevent them growing back through. Check out Telford Drainage Solutions, we’re on Facebook and you’ll see what we do with roots.
Hope this helps
