Does a door expanding in a heatwave affect the strength of the locks?

"A door shrinking may affect it but not expanding . Doors normally shrink in heat and expand in wetter cooler weather"

"It would if the door expanded so much that it was jammed up then the door be wouldn't open although I've never came across that situation then be again I'm based in Scotland lol"

"Yes it is possible. Especially with older doors, sesame when humidity is high."
