"Rendering can affect a home's breathability, as it can reduce the ability of the walls to "breathe" or allow air to circulate through them. However, the degree to which rendering affects breathability can vary depending on the type of rendering used and how it is applied."

"Hi
Having render can cause the house to lose its ability to breath yes
There are new types of render now though that are fully waterproof"

"No it shouldn't effect the breathing of the house as you have vents and different systems in place to help your house breathe but it will seal your house and help with damp and heat of your house"
