Do internal walls need insulating?

Hi I was wondering if the interior walls in my house need to be insulated as well as the external ones to help save money? How do you insulate internal walls?

"As a rule you don't need to insulate internal walls but it reduces noise. Use polystyrene sheets in walls but NOT in ceilings."

"Is it a new build house ? You should consider your outside walls windows and roof space first and these are more likely to save energy"
