Do bathrooms need to have water resistant paint?

    Painters & Decorators

Hello. There are tiles along the bathtub/shower area but then the rest of the walls are just painted so I’d like to ask do I need to use waterproof paint in a bathroom?

"It's best to use a water resistant paint in kitchens and bathrooms due to the moisture. Dulux do a good selection of this type of paint"

"Moisture resistant paint is needed to stop the condensation seeping into the paint and walls.
You can get “bathroom paint” or most decorators use eggshell or soft sheen"
