Dishwasher machine door closes the light comes on but the dishwasher doesn’t start washing please help

1. Make sure the door is fully closed

Open and close the door again.

If a click is heard, this indicates that the door has closed correctly.

2. Make sure the delay start function is disabled

see the user manual for detailed instructions on disabling this mode.

3. Check that the previous cycle is not in progress

If a cycle is still in progress, it must be canceled before scheduling the next cycle.

to cancel the cycle, read the section on canceling cycles in the dishwasher user manual.

On some models, the panel will show you how to reset a cycle.

4. Verify that the "Ultra Quiet" or "Night" options are selected:

these options involve long pauses in the wash cycle, lasting up to 20 minutes.

The cycle can still run.

5. Check for LED alerts, audible alerts, or error messages:

the error message can be a flashing LED, a sequence of beeps or a code indicated on the display.

See your user manual for detailed troubleshooting information.

6. Check for power supply issues:

make sure the device is connected and turned on. Plug another device into the same outlet to determine if power is present. If the outlet does not work, contact a local electrician to fix the problem.

7. Check for tripped relays or a blown fuse

reset the circuit breaker / RCD or replace the fuse

You can reset the circuit breaker by pushing the switch to the "ON" position

8. Contact an authorized Service Center

if the above suggestions do not solve the problem, we recommend that you contact a service technician.

1. Check water feed, is water supply getting into dishwasher, all valves open?
2. If possible check all pipes, feed and drain, it might be bent, and water is not getting in or getting out causing your dishwasher to not start;

You might need to remove plinth to check this flexible fees/darom pipes.

3. Those two above are main quick checks, before worrying about anything more serious, there dishwasher might be faulty or any other bigger issues.

If the dishwasher door is definitely closed, then the dishwasher should work, is there an Error code showing In the display?
Check salt & rinse aid  levels. If still not working then call an engineer.

You have to call a appliance repair man if you can't afford you can search on YouTube may be you will find some tips for that.....

This will normally be down to a blockage so check the filter….the next thing to check would be the water supply. If the dishwasher is next to the sink you will probably find it there if not it will be behind the dishwasher and not liking to be turned off by accident unless it’s been newly installed.

I think it would be a good idea to call the company where you bought the dishwasher, if you have insurance, they will repair the dishwasher for you, otherwise they recommended thoroughly cleaning the door and frame of the dishwasher so that the sensor can work properly
