"Living with roommates can be a lot of fun, but it can also present challenges when it comes to decorating your shared living space. Here are some tips for decorating when living with roommates:

Communicate: Before you start decorating, have a conversation with your roommates to make sure everyone is on the same page. Discuss your individual tastes and preferences, and come up with a plan that everyone agrees on.

Keep it neutral: To avoid clashing styles, stick to neutral colors and simple designs. This will make it easier to incorporate everyone's personal items without creating a clash of styles.

Personalize your space: While you want to keep the shared spaces neutral, it's important to personalize your own space. Hang up some of your favorite posters or artwork in your room to make it feel like your own.

Divide and conquer: Consider dividing the shared spaces into separate zones, with each roommate responsible for decorating their own zone. This way, everyone can express their individuality without stepping on each other's toes.

Compromise: If you and your roommates have different tastes, compromise is key. Find ways to blend your styles together, or take turns choosing pieces to add to the space.

Use storage: Make sure there's plenty of storage space for everyone's belongings. This will keep the space looking neat and tidy, and prevent clutter from taking over.

Keep it clean: Finally, make sure everyone agrees to keep the shared spaces clean and tidy. This will help maintain a harmonious living environment and prevent any disputes over messes"

"No ideal because each person will have their own taste. The best thing to do would be to pick a colour swatch person agrees to and go with the majority"
