Cost to fit a custom stair gate at top of stairs

Our standard pressure-fit gate doesn't fit the top of the stairs properly because of the angle. We need something custom built into the wall. What does a bespoke fitted stair gate usually cost?

As mentioned I’d budget for about £300-400 depending on timber used and style required. Maybe try to match your existing spindles if you have them to keep the look consistent. And as John said go for a built to the wall option rather than pressure fit for safety just get a child proof latch

Hi, it would depend what material you want it making from. Say if you wanted a nice wooden one from oak I'd say potentially around the £200 mark
