cost of installing an energy efficient boiler in southeast of England

I’d like to have an energy-efficient boiler fitted in my home. I am based in the southeast of England. How much does an average energy-efficient boiler cost? I am eager to do my part in helping the environment so I’d like to find the best energy-efficient boilers on the market with the exclusion of those that are particularly expensive. Do you have any recommendations? If I am to hire a tradesperson to perform the installation, what sort of cost am I looking at for the labour? What about the waste disposal cost for getting rid of my current boiler?

"Hi. Get on the internet and look around for the best boiler for your needs.
Worcester, Vailant, Baxi are a few names that are
quite popular, but there are other brands too. If you are purchasing the boiler yourself,
You will be expecting an engineer to charge anything
From £400 - £500 labour.
Normally the engineer will take your
old boiler for disposal. Hope that helps."

"Contact some local gas engineers and get quotes. Gas engineers aren’t here to rip you off they just support there family’s and run a business. Heating business’ are not cheap to run.

The cheapest quote may not always be the best!"

"It all depends on your requirements, hot water demand and how many radiators etc. I install the Viessmann boilers from £1600 if there are no complications. All problems can be solved but the price increases accordingly."

"Hi,

It's best to get a quote from the installer as they will be able to recommend the best boiler to meet the requirements of your home.

A new boiler can cost between £2000 and £3000."
