Cost of fitting a scale reducer

Hi, I’ve been thinking of getting a magnetic / electrolytic scale reducer / inhibitor fitted to reduce limescale effects (mainly in the shower). Can you advise roughly how much it might cost to get of these devices fitted please?

Device cost about 38£ and installation costs 80£. Depending on the pipe work access price may be higher.

Hi, normally I charge £75 for supply and install of scale reducer, this goes on the cold mains pipe. 
Inhibitor goes in the heating system for that side if you wanted a filter fitted on the heating and inhibitor putting in, that would be £150.

Hi the average price for fitting a lime scale reducer is 60 pounds .
A decent quality item £20 pounds
And £40 pounds labour.

I would say £75-£100 however they’re not that effective in terms of reducing throughout the whole property, it could help the shower if you get it fitted as close as possible
