cost of adding a cabinet kitchen island in London

    Kitchen Fitters

My family and I live in London and we’d like to have a cabinet kitchen island added to our kitchen. How much might this cost in terms of the supply and labour costs? We would like an average quality and average-priced product but preferably something stylish and that which will last long.

    "Hi there,

If you want a durable and stylish worktop material, you could choose from:

Natural stone (marble, granite, quartzite, etc.)
    Engineered stone(quartz, porcelain, ceramic, etc.)

The sky is the limit when it comes to natural stones, so below are typical costs:

In 2021, template, supply and installation costs for a stone kitchen island in London will range between £1500-£4000, depending on the type, thickness and size of the slab of your favourite material."

It's hard to determine without knowing the size and style you have already within the kitchen.

The labour cost can vary so much.

    Hope this helps"

"Hard to answer without a rough idea of dimensions, number of cupboards / draws on multiple sides? Is it to include pop up extractor and gas / induction hob, with stone top or wood? Will this need to match existing units if so where are they from? Happy to provide Indicative pricing with a photo and an idea of requirements
