Can copper pipes come into contact with PVC pipes?

"No, unless the hot water pipe is touching the PVC, which can cause it to gradually melt. Otherwise no they can come in contact."

"Everything can connect with Everything ,but I don't know why you wanna connect the PVC with cooper ? PVC for drain and waste ,and completely different sizes ."

"Copper is in form of metal while pvc is a plastic. both are made from different material and can not come in contact with each others"
