Cleaning top of wall cabinets in kitchen

I've just moved into a rental flat and there's a layer of greasy dust on top of my kitchen wall cabinets. It's quite sticky and smears when I try to wipe it. What should I use to remove it? I don't want to risk damaging the cabinets.

"Spray Dr Magic on them, leave for 5 mins then wipe off with hot soapy water, works perfectly, then dry with blue roll."

"Hi, i will suggest using a degreaser, leave it for a minute or two. Then wipe off with a cloth repeat if needed then follow up with a multi purpose or Disinfecting cleaner and cloth. You might have to clean the inside and
outside of cupboard doors."

"Put on a pair of gloves, use bleach direct to a wet cloth and wipe, bleach breaks down the grease and dust and allows an easier wipe.

If still too tough use gloves, bleach direct to a steel wool pad and gently rub until you cover the area, then wipe with a rag or paper towel and the grease will vanish!"
