"The best way is to agitate the paint lightly with a brass brush, apply a good quality paint stripper then agitate that with the brass brush, wash off with plenty of water as the sripper may turn the paint brown if its a old lead paint. Depending on how many coats of paint has been applied you could use a metal scraper to lift if off."

"I'm a stonemason so I would grind it back using a special pad it takes it back to its original stone and then it's just a quick rub with sandpaper and it would be as good as new"

"A light power wash should remove it. If not a light buff will take it away"

"Use a good peel away paint remover this should work but try a sample area first to make sure it doesn’t damage stone."
