About
We are a local company that has been active from the early 1900's as stonemasons in Cemetery Road Ipswich. Moving into building services around 1989. We specialize in heavy landscaping, laying patios, drop kerb's and driveways in all types of surfaces, ie paver's, resin, asphalt tar and chippings. We are approved by the relevant Highways departments as a contractor and hold the required 10ml Public Liability insurance, which is checked every year by the councils.
We also do repairs to roofs and chimney stacks, and all types of general building inc general maintenance

very courteous, arrived in fairly good time and without any messing about began to get on with the job in hand. One star deducted due to brick dust everywhere which took some time to clean up but otherwise a good job.

Job completed and carried out to a good standard although I had ask them to come back and remove debris which was left behind.
A.Wright& SonAt the time this job was being done I was waiting to be called into hospital for a operation, which I had on the 12/02/25, so a lot was on my mind, to clarify the debris we did not clear was the soil that was washed down to the front of the garage, not something we created at all it was present when we arrived we actually cleared it and put it on a soil bed that runs down the side of the open space there not creating a problem, but we will go back and make sure it is tidy to the client approval, even though it was not our mess.

Polite, did a excellent job, cleaned up afterwards. Will use again when needed.

We had a very tight budget but Danny at A.Wright&Son did a fantastic repair/rebuilding of our damaged brick wall. An extremely knowledgeable and professional team. And they left the work site immaculate. I would definitely use them again if needed and highly recommended them.

Gutters were cleaned but it fell into a lower gutter and was left in a bit of a mess when I went out the back after they’d gone
