Changing freestanding cooker to built in hob and oven

Question

Hi 
I currently have a freestanding 60cm cooker which needs replacing 
I’m considering changing to a built in hob and oven 
Is this possible? 
Would I need to buy 60cm hob or smaller 
Some guidance would be much appreciated

Hi Tanya.you can buy a hob and a built-in oven, but you will need a cabinet for this.  I don't know what your situation is with the worktop, but if you had a free-standing hob, you will have to replace the kitchen worktop because the built-in hob is placed on the worktop.

Since it a free standing cooker of 60cm and you are changing to a built in hob 56cm will be okay

Off course you can, to do this you need to buy 600 oven base unit and n this case you need fit need worktop

Hi , you would need to install worktop so the hob has something to sit in and also an oven housing to sit the oven in , either make one or buy off the shelf  , hope that's answered your question.

You would need to install worktop so the hob has something to sit in. You  also need an oven housing to sit the oven in. The housing be bought ready made from building merchants, or make one. I hope that's answered your question.
