Changing a concrete driveway

I want to change a concrete drive for something that looks nicer. Will this need taking up or is it possible to lay something over the top?

"All depends on level of damp course to what you’d like to put on top and how stable existing concrete drive is as a sub base"

"Depending on the concrete driveway if it’s solid and not breaking in areas, and if the house air vents are high enough to put another layer of Block paver and Slab in on top and laid wood, concrete or sand, make sure that the evidence is high enough to lay Annie above"

"Best option would be taking it all up . Always start a new when installing a new driveway . You don’t want concrete bonding and adhering to poor surfaces ."

"Depending on the quality of the concrete and how substantial it’s is. If it’s good it could be overlayed with resin bound gravel without removing the concrete.
