Cover over artex in a bathroom?
What is the safest, cheapest and best way to cover over a bathroom that is wall to wall artex (years old - possibly 30 odd) so that I can either tile, paint or cover it with something else that is suitable such as wall boards?

Can I put up alcove shelving?
Hello all, I am looking into putting up shelves in some shallow alcoves (approximately a metre wide). They are located close to my living room fireplace. Would it be sufficient to use floating shelves or would I need brackets? I intend to use these as bookshelves, so there will be some weight to them. Advice on this would be brilliant!

Heavy Item on Plaster Board Walls
I have hooded dryers that need to go onto a salon wall. The salon walls are plasterboard as it is a small salon suite and the dryers are heavy. Are there any recommendations for something that will help make it more secure such as bolts etc that I can purchase. As the salon is very small (its the size of a small suite 2.7m x 3 m) I have no option but to mount the dryers on the wall as it will take up too much space as standing dryers. Thanks in advance.
