How do I remove and replace a toilet seat?
Hello I have a damaged bathroom toilet seat which I need to remove to be replaced. I remember from previous houses’ toilets that there are usually screws fixing it into the toilet unit itself, but I don’t know how to reach this section to unscrew the seat. Is there any method that will apply to toilet seats? And am I right to assume that the new seat can just be screwed into the same sections of the toilet unit too? Or is there any additional steps to include?
How can you tell how much weight a wall can hold?
I wonder if there is a way to tell what a wall can hold without just hanging something and hoping for the best. I’ve inherited a TV bracket to mount the TV on the wall but I’m a bit worried its going to be too heavy. How can I check?
Best way to attach glass table top to metal base
Hi, I have a glass coffee table top that needs reattaching to its base. I’ve tried using silicone but it doesn’t work. I’ve read that epoxy would be the best glue to be used but that UV light should be used to cure it? I’d appreciate any guidance. Thanks Teri

Polystyrene coving
I have bought some Lightweight polystyrene coving to finish my living room off but I am having problems when it comes to mitering the Internal corners. I have already wasted one length of Coving and don't want to attempt to try again. I have four Internal corners in my living room. Can someone give me a rough Idea of how much it will cost for someone to Mitre the corners for me only? I don't have a problem Installing the rest of it and only need the corners done.
Cost/difficulty of fitting a shower screen
I want to replace my shower curtain with a more attractive shower screen. How difficult are they to install and is this something I could do myself or should I get someone in to do it? If I do get someone in, what sort of cost am I looking at (both for the screen and labour costs)? Thanks.
