What's the best extractor fan for a bathroom with no window? Is it purely down to the highest power or something else?
Is it possible/safe to hang normal curtains in a bathroom?
Hi I am going to install shower panels which is the best silicone adhesive to use to bond the shower panels on the walls? The walls are white ceramic tiled. If you recommend some adhesives it would be helpful
I would like to re-tile my bathroom with porcelain tiles on both the floor and wall. The tiles are 60x30cm. Currently, I have ceramic tiles on the walls. I have been told that if I remove the current tiles the plasterboard will need to be replaced, which is fine. However, today I was told that I cannot hang porcelain tiles directly onto plasterboard and I need to attach a Cement Backboard (sold by Topptiles) to the plasterboard and then hang the wall tiles. Is this correct?
I am wanting to change ge my quadrant shower to a square shower. Is this possible and is it very complicated? What steps would I need to take to do this? Is it something g I could do myself or would I need a professional?
Hi all, I've just bought my first house and the bathroom is in great need of renovations. Theoretically, it's an old bathroom that needs a basic renovation. Basic taps, shower/bath, basin+pedastal etc everything in same place. No Plastering needed, no paint needed lino floor, pvc plastic 4 sheets needed. No fancy stuff or extras. My cheapest quote was £7,500 i got from bathroom businesses and it's over budget for me. I'm thinking about doing part of it myself, or contacting a sole trader. Could anyone give me a rough idea of how much that would cost? It's a small bathroom that literally only just about fits that stuff, very narrow. Thanks in advance
How much would it cost to have a sliding door fitted in my bathroom? Still needs to be able to lock in some way.
Hi I have a small toilet and sink next to a small bedroom. The bathroom is downstairs. How much would it roughly cost if possible to move the bath and shower into the bedroom space....knocking down the wall in between to make a big bathroom. If that makes sense
I want to replace our old shower (exposed valve type) with a bar valve shower. the 15mm pipe connections are 160mm apart and all bar valves are standard 150. I know offset connectors might work but on forums, people say its difficult to get the connectors to 150 AND level. its a tiled wall so don't want to remove tiles, but short of fitting the same type of shower.......any advice?
Three bedroom semi the bathroom is very small and wanted to change the small box room into a bathroom. Wanted to know how complicated this job is and the how much this will cost.
