We are hoping to change up the bathroom in our new house. It currently has a nice freestanding clawfoot bath, vanity with bowl style sink and a decent toilet that I want to keep. The bathroom is tiled (floor and all walls) and for some reason a previous owner has then added a cheap and horrible shower. We want to have a Lisna Water shower put in instead. I assume we need to remove the toilet/sink/vanity/bath safely before removing the tiles? We can remove the tiles ourselves, lay the floor and do the painting ourselves but will need to hire a plasterer and plumber. Can anyone give me an estimate for plastering (all 4 walls) and the plumbing labor? Extra info: The room is approx. 2.25 x 2.40 meters, we want to keep the locations of each item the same so hopefully no moving pipes etc..., ceiling does not need plastering and we are in the north east of England.
Where can I get a square shower tray with 2 upstands, I can only find ones with 3 or 4 upstands!!
What’s the best stores, including online for buying replacement parts for bathroom fixtures/fittings? Or am I better off trying something like eBay? Doesn’t have to be a store. If you know any good websites that sell good and reliable replacement parts of toilets, showers, baths, etc. that would be a great help.
Are in-tank toilets any good? I've got a small WC and think this might give us more space but I don't know much about them.
