    Carport building regulations

In what circumstances would you need building regulations approval to get a carport fitted? Who would sign off on this and how much might it cost to make an application if it’s necessary?

    "Hi there,
Do you have an idea of the length, width and height of the carport you are planning ton have fitted? The requirements with building regulations and planning applications vary widely depending on size of the carport, location of the carport and the size of garden or land around your property.

"I would advise building control on this job as building control would sign off on completion they may have to have a few visits depending on size of the job.

    Hope this helps

    Kind regards,
