Can you use wall paint on wooden doors?

I've got leftover emulsion from the bedroom and wondered if I could use it on the door to save buying gloss. Is wall paint suitable for wooden doors?

No definitely not. I wouldn’t recommend it. Gloss or a satinwood 👍🏻

I wouldn't recommend using emulsion on woodwork it's not hard-wearing and can't be wiped down like gloss or satinwood. If your painting woodwork white I'd recommend satinwood for your woodwork as this doesn't yellow like goss does these days

Unfortunately not as the paint will not stick and will sock in satin or gloss for wood work and doors hope that helps

Absolutely you can, as long as you sand ,clean, prime and undercoat, any paint will adhere to the surface, however it's not hard-wearing paint and will require repainting long before a purpose paint would, such as Satinwood or Gloss.
If course there will be loads of people telling you not to, but it's entirely up to you.
My advice would be to use a purpose paint.
