Can you put a boiler in the loft

The loft has been converted but we're sure there is some space/access we could create to put a boiler up there?

"Lofts need to be boarded, well lit and have a fixed ladder for access if possible. Boilers need a sound wall or construct a stud wall, must be safe and secure when boiler hangs on it. Usually the flue can be routed through the roof, consider the height of the roof and access. All frost vulnerable pipes need insulating, most boilers will have frost protection built into the PCB."

"You need fitted permanent ladders and the attic must be boarded out from the attic entrance (hatch) to the boiler, providing there's enough space for clearances then yes you can install a boiler in the attic"

"Yes you can pout a boiler in the loft. You would need to ensure the loft is boarded along with a suitable loft ladder for easy and safe access to the boiler.

You should look for a frost stat and all pipes apart from the gas should be insulated.

Ensure well fixed to an outside wall or solid stud structure or a jig frame may be purchased from the manufacturer for it to sit on.

The one this to take into consideration is the access to re pressurise the boiler or check regular for no leaks or loss of pressure."

"Yes, needs good lighting, to be fixed on a suitable wall, loft needs to be boarded, railing round the hatch and bespoke steps ( not a ladder)."
