Built in single oven and microwave cabinets

Can a built in oven and microwave eye-level unit be fitted directly against an adjoining wall, without an end panel?

"Hi Richard, yes it can. However you lose the ability to run your plinth or cornice into a flush panel. Also there may be a problem with the space between the wall and oven door opening. There should be a gap about 5mm between the appliances and the end wall, so you should be OK.

I hope all goes well, Steven at Creative Carpentry and Kitchens"
