How can I tell when a building warranty is substantial/up to the standard that I should expect?

"Hi warranty and workmanship will speak for its self over time and your warranty and guarantee should be combined to give you peace of mind and always use a recommended builder and look at his reputation in building work skills and mainly his guarantee is the most important thing to have. You can even ask him is it covered by an insurance backed guarantee if he goes out of business you should ask does this insurance cover me for his work. You should be able to call if he goes bust to come and fix anything that is wrong with his work. Any recommended builder should be allocated a building inspector to there company for peace of mind to consumers."
