How far from a boiler should you site a carbon monoxide detector?

"Ideally a carbon monoxide detector should be central in same room at least 1 metre away, ideally on a wall 200mm from ceiling, installation instructions should be with a new detector.

"What does it say in the instructions?

Normally at least 1m away from the boiler and around 450mm away from the ceiling.
Not exposed to draughts, doorways and windows."

"It’s normal as per the manufacturer instructions but as a rule normal in the room boiler installed and 1.5m from floor"
