"All modern windows seal to stop ingress of water/wind. But all windows must now have the correct air vents installed to improve ventilation. And also be able to open for additional Ventilation and escape."

"The most ideal window to use is one with a trickle vents or sometimes if the windows are new enough they have a secondary lock which you can slightly open the window ajar unlock it into position"
