"It is all down mostly to your water pressure - both cold mains and hot pushed by the boiler. If your boiler is quite new (ie. combi) and mains pressure high - go for high flow rate taps."

"You will need to check the water pressure in your property and choose a tap that is appropriate to work with the flow rate"

"Hi,

Firstly you need to establish what hot water system you have. if you have a combi boiler or unvented pressurized hot water tank then you can choose any tap as you have high water pressure. If you have a conventional system like a hot water cylinder with a header tank then you have a gravity fed system so you will need to purchase a tap suitable for low pressure.
