Best paint to use?

I have a large bay window sill to paint approx 1.5m x 2m and I have tried to do this twice now only to have the same result... by the time I have cut in and started to fill in the middle the paint has started to dry and makes a mess when I get to the end.
Is there a good Satin/EggShell paint that doesn't dry so quick and follows well that it allows you to paint the whole sill before it dry's out?

"I would use an oil based satin paint cut in 1st then use a small spounge mini roller to paint the rest have soft hands to lay off side ways that's how I do it and it almost looks like a plastic still"

"Yes, you're running into a common issue with water-based (acrylic) satin or eggshell paints—they tend to dry quickly, especially on large surfaces like window sills that get a lot of light and warmth."

"Crown exterior water based Eggshell.
Easy to apply.
Dries relatively quick. Enables you to build up plenty of coats.
Looks like a classic estate finish Eggshell.
Use a good primer undercoat first.
Cut and mini roll.
If working in direct hot sunlight, add 5% water."

"Dulux is always reliable for a tradesman, but Wickes own brand is fairly good too."
