Average time of fitting a carpet DIY

I would like to fit a new carpet by myself for a living room of about fifteen square metres. How long will this job take altogether?

"It will take around less then 1 hour for professional fitter to fit. As for DIY it depends on you, how quick you can do it."

"Doing it yourself I would advise against unless you have the correct tools. But a qualified fitter with tools would take just under an hour."

"It would take me about 45 minutes if it was full prep but for someone that hasn't done it will find it hard getting it flat and tight"
