Are outdoor tiles frost proof?

How can I tell if outdoor tiles are frost resistant? Or are all exterior tiles frost proof? I'm trying to pick tiles for our front path and website information doesn't seem to mention it.

"The tiles will be frost proof it's the adhesive used which maybe the issue as they may not be able to cope with the changing temperatures. Your installer should use one recommended by the manufacturer."

"No tiles should be laid outside in temps less than 5 degrees. When tiling outside I would use a sand and cement base and then butter the backs of the tiles with rapid set adhesive I would not advise tiling on concrete sub-base outside."

"I always send my clients to the producer's website or to buy with a professional shops where a seller can give some advice on the product.
When you want to buy product from the internet, make sure the seller and their products are British Standards approved or ask them a question keeping the conversation with a receipt."

"Outdoor tiles have been designed to be: Frost resistant: they don't absorb water so if the temperature drops to below freezing, you won't have to worry about the tile cracking. Stain-proof: they have no little holes that dirt can get into to affect the overall look of them."
