Ask your QuestionOne of my smoke alarms is on its last legs. I am aiming to buy a new one very soon. Since my current alarm only lasted a couple of years, I'd like to know what types of brands of smoke alarms I should consider for a long-lasting alarm?

"Try Nest smoke and Carbon Monoxide alarm. Select from wired or wireless one which lasted for ten years. It alerts you as well via smartphone once smoke or CO detected. A bit pricey but product you can depend on."

A couple of years seems a bit short but Fire angel is a very good make that I've had no complaints for and last a long time (5± years)."
