Can my box hedge be lifted and transplanted a foot further over at this time of year
I am currently planning my garden design, I want to brick over the current concrete paths so that new paths will all be uniformed with the exsisting paths. I can't afford to do all the paths at once, so want to make sure that when I do the paths, the borders, lawn area and patio are all at the same height as it needs to be wheelchair friendly. So my question is how much height do I need for bricks on top of concrete? Guessing its just sand then the bricks and then sand in the gaps but not sure the deph of base sand needed. Any advice welcome. Thank you.
We are looking at having our wall rebuilt, our understanding is that for very damp areas / north facing that engineering bricks would be the most durable act like glass when water hits / sits on them. Current wall has facing bricks all blown through frost and are saturated black colour. What are the key differences please? Any advice welcome. Thanks
Just bought a flat and before we re-plaster the ceilings we are considering changing the spotlights in the living room and possibly two bedrooms to a central hanging light in each room. Roughly how much would it cost to remove spotlights and rewire them to a central light per room?

Hello, I’m just installing a soaker hose system and don’t know if my existing outdoor tap (fitted in 2014) has a double check/no return valve. Can anyone advise if it’s likely to have? Many thanks.
