Windows that keep in warmth and reflect sun

Is there a type of window that keeps in warmth but also keeps out the sun during heatwaves? If so, what type should we be looking for?

It’s the glass you need it’s called solar controlled glass it reflects heat and glare, if you get an a rated plus window that will help with temperature control. Hope this helps

K glass or planitherm keep heat in but in all truth won't make difference if by any chance windows not fitted good,plus now windows need to have vents and in my opinion these let heat escape

Either triple warm windows or solar windows which is a coating that goes on the glass units

Yes you can change the glas to what they call blue glass as I use this in conservative s to stop the heat

Window frame no, glass I would go with K-Glass. 

Other options are blinds for example on the although this will reduce light into the room
