I had a window fitted in my kitchen and trade person left it with yellow foam exposed all around the window he said I will need to get it rendered and it's not part of window installation is this true?

If the tradesmen damaged it taking the window out then it should really be him that makes good, either with trim or render.. all depends on his terms & conditions tho..

Depends on amount of damage  if  damage is close to frame foam can be trimmed back and covered with pvc trims and sealed

Hi yes and no really what did you agree with him and how soon are you having it rendered if you are having it done soon it will be fine if not you really need it sealing with silicone Thanks.

Hi you paid for a complete finish so the fitters should have rendered it back to what it was originally

No any good fitter would repair the render or at very least trim and seal

No not at all  he should have either trimmed or render it up as part of the installation

If the trades man damaged the render due to installation it would be his responsibility to repair it. As he should have factored this into his price.
