Hi How much should I expect to pay to get a couple window lock.mechanisms and handles replaced please?

Most people chager £50 to £100 on mechanism and handles should be about £25

Depending on the style of the window and what type of. Locking mechanism is required. As an estimate, not including any lintels site visit to confirm parts etc, a mechanism supplied and fitted including a replacement handle would be about £80. Handle of different colours are extra money and if the windows mechanism id broken and the window is jammed locked, there would be a charge to open it and see what mechanism is needed. If you have another window in the property that’s the same size or style as the window that’s broken, you could take pics of the merchandise and style of window so I could see what the mechanism is required and what type of handle etc to save coming out to visit property which would be extra money for a site visit.  Obviously if I only have to turn upon with the parts required and change them it would be cheaper than popping out to get a list of Polaris then returning ata a later date to install the new parts.
