Widening a concrete driveway

Can I widen my concrete driveway without replacing or resurfacing the existing drive?

Yes of course you just need to ensure the widened part is fixed to existing normally with some re-bar to strengthen it stop it braking away 
its a very common practice we’ve conducted many time in the past

In Theory yes. But this depends on how much you would like to widen the driveway.

Yes luke it is completely possible in the case of widening a concrete drive you have to clean to the edge of the old drive and it’s basically the same as having a new drive but you use the old drive as a edge rather than installing one before hand

Yes this is just a new installation next to the existing concrete, there will be a join but not joined to the current area
