What's the best home cinema equipment?

We're thinking of putting a home cinema in our basement but can't decide whether to use a projector or smart TV. Which is easier to set up and better to use for watching films?

"I think it depends on the size or the room this is what I think. If it's a large room then I would a projector. But if it's a smaller room then I would go for a smart tv. From Kevin baker kb electric and tech"

"I will say smart TVs much better now especially if you go with sky glass or big size TVs."

"Hi
I would say an 85 inch or bigger tv is much better than a projector"

"Hi there a two types of signal you can receive at you property. One is freeviw . That can be available though a fully installed aerial . The other is freesat. That can be available though a fully installed satellite dish

"Easiest setup would be a smart TV as it would likely reduce the number of necessary "input devices" as it has built in apps on the tv.

Best to watch films, that would typically be a projector but this can depend upon personal preference / size of the room etc.

If your having the whole system installed then the installer will typically set the system up so that it's ready to use, therefore any additional set up required would be done by the installer."
