"Firstly you can look at neighbours aerials, secondly find out ypur transmitter and do a channel checker to what the signal is like in your area. I would always recommend calling an aerial engineer in to fit your aerial as it will work out cheaper in the long run. Stay away from nationals and look for a local engineer"

"All depends on the area you live in. Some areas have good aerial signal and som are variable. Would need your post code for this so I can do a check?"

"It depends where you live and what channels you are trying to access."

"A log periodic aerial is normally adequate for freeview. A 5G filtered is probably best . If you are in a low signal area a higher gain maybe required at an elevated height."

"Hi there . You will need a log periodic tv aerial. You can only purchase these types of aerials through a trade store or TV aerial Buisness like ours ."

"All depends on your location to the nearest transmitter, how many TVs require a signal.
A professional will know all of this."

"Signal gain is important. To check what’s the most suitable aerial for your property you need to get an aerial company to do signal tests.. two much signal can as bad as not enough.

"Gain is always important but just less so in areas that aren't blocked by tall buildings, mountain ranges, or in a valley/dip.
Most installers will put a meter on your aerial and correctly align it either way, in harder to receive signal areas the installation will need a higher gain aerial and possibly a booster/mast head amp.
It's totally down to the area on the whole"
