"Hi Julie,
Look out for
Bite marks on the skin, often in a line or cluster
Small blood stains on sheets or mattresses from crushed bugs
Tiny, reddish-brown bugs or their shed skins in the seams of mattresses or on nearby furniture
A musty, sweet odor coming from infested rooms
Live bugs or eggs, which are small and white, found in the crevices of beds or furniture.
Hope this helps"

"Good morning Julie.

Bedbugs tend to bite around the upper body and arms, and you will often find spotting marks around the edges of your mattress, this where bedbugs return to and the spotting marks you find is the feetle matter left behind by the bedbug.
Peeling back the around the seam of the mattress can often uncover bedbugs, and if you have travelled lately, it is possible that you may have brought them home from your travel.
Regards.
Chris."

"I can give you a few tips but I'm not revealing all our methods.
1. Look for blood spots, when dry will ɓe black, along the seam of the mattress, on skirting boards or on the bed itself.
2. Bed bugs shed their skins 5 times prior to reaching adulthood so you can also look for the discarded skins
3. Bed bugs themselves can hide almost anywhere but generally you'll find them close to where you sleep.
4. Bites on the body can be singular but more often than not they're in groups. A single bed bug may inject you up to 10 times. Bites will either be in a row or clustered together depending on whether the bug fed from the body or not.
Best bet is to call in a professional pest control technician who should be able to locate them fairly quickly"
