"Hi, for skirting boards without nails I’d recommend a strong grab adhesive (for example No More Nails, Gripfill, or similar). Make sure both surfaces are clean and dry before applying, and hold the skirting in place until it sets. If you’d like, I can supply and fit the skirting professionally to ensure a neat finish."

"Stixall, it's about the best value/performance grab adhesive at the moment"

"You can't beat CT1 but they're about £13 each.
Stixall Extreme Power is half the price and almost as good. I've found that the black one has a stronger grab than the others for some reason."

"Use ‘sticks like s**t’ or stixall both brilliant adhesives when fixing skirting."

"Stick all is good but nothing beats manual fixings like nails or plug and screw"

"Hi, you can use CT1, SOUDAL, EverBuild stixall adhesive , gripfill. All up to you"

"Ct1 is the best but expensive. Grip fill is good cheaper alternative but you need to move the skirting to break the skin it forms once you push together to get the best bond. Then a few small pins to keep in place until the adhesive has cured."

"Great question! If you'd prefer to avoid using nails, a strong grab adhesive is a popular and effective option for fixing skirting boards. Look for high-strength, fast-grab adhesives specifically designed for interior woodwork—products like No More Nails, Gripfill, or Stixall are commonly used and trusted by both DIYers and professionals.

Hope that helps, and good luck with your project!"

"Hi.
We're mostly using this one from Screwfix:
https://www.screwfix.com/p/no-nonsense-solvent-free-grab-adhesive-white-310ml/87451?ref=SFAppShare,
The adhesive only works if your wall are squared and if they are straight. Otherwise you'd get gaps between your skirting and wall in places where the wall is uneven. There are techniques to cut the skirtings in certain way to make them more flexible but it would be cheeper for you probably to use nail gun and wee nails and paint it over."
