Vinyl vs tiles for bathroom floor cost

Redoing the bathroom floor. Is vinyl much cheaper than tiles once fitting is included. Is there a reason to go with tiles over vinyl

"Although tiles require more preparation and a higher installation cost, they are the better choice because they last over time, unlike vinyl flooring."

"Hi, Vinyl is cheaper because it's quicker, meaning less time to fit.
Sheet Vinyl is also more hygienic as there should be no joins, like floor tiles."

"Tiles are the best, most durable, and longest-lasting option; however, if you enjoy frequent changes, vinyl is the better choice in terms of speed, price, and cost."

"yes vinyl is much cheaper. also unless sub floor under tiles is sturdy you risk movement which will cause tiles to lose waterproof capabilities"

"Tiles are generally the more expensive option due to the time it takes to prep the floor & fit. Vinyl is a lot quicker with many cheap but decent quality options"
