Vinyl vs tiles for bathroom floor cost

Redoing the bathroom floor. Is vinyl much cheaper than tiles once fitting is included. Is there a reason to go with tiles over vinyl

yes vinyl is much cheaper. also unless sub floor under tiles is sturdy you risk movement which will cause tiles to lose waterproof capabilities
