Vacuum cleaner recommendations

What affordable vacuum cleaner would you recommend for removing pet hair from carpets and sofas? I'm struggling to narrow down the options without testing them.

"I always recommend using a Henry Hoover. This is what we use for our cleans and the cleaners love them. Simple and Easy to use but very powerful."

"Henry's are a cleaning industry standard, used on many sites around the country. I would highly recommend and the suction power is great. I would avoid battery operated ones for heavy use as the demand is more than the supply can give"
