"Hi
You can repair your bathtub but not with an ordinary sealant . The integrity of your bath is compromised and over time will weaken further resulting in a new bath . Depending on location of crack on bathtub will depend on how long it will last .
As a quick and temporary fix you can buy component set Epoxy Bath Repair Kit . This is more suitable than normal sealant and will last a lot longer ."

"I have looked into this. I found a compound on the net but as someone has said before, I would price a new bath. I dropped a tile on my own bath. Ended up for the price of the compound and the work, replacing the bath was quicker and easier for me."

"Depends on material Bath is made from ie plastic or steel. Probably better to fix with epoxy or fibreglass on the underside to provide a near permanent repair."
