Should I replace my driveway?

My concrete driveway has certainly seen better days. It’s crumbling at this stage. What can I do to fix it up and give it a fresh look and more importantly, what can I do to prevent the issue repeating? I want to give it a new lease of life but not if the problems will just comeback again a few months later. I assume the issue will eventually repeat no matter what I do.

At what point, might I need an entirely need driveway laid? How can you tell the difference between a crumbling driveway that can just be fixed up with some maintenance versus a driveway that’s beyond repair and you simply need to replace with a fresh driveway?

"Morning,

The only way I could say is either by coming over to see it or take some pictures and send them over so the contractor can see and make a judgment. I suggest in block paving with the correct size base so there are no sunk areas after 6 months of parking on the drive way. I use a compound sand for the joints of the block paving that sets, this creates a solid slab of blocks which binds the individual blocks into one strong slab.

Please don't hesitate to ask me anything else as I'm here to help.

Kind regards

"If it Breaking up then yes but I would also get someone to clean steam your driveway every year so it’s kept to a good standard and I know a company that does it and I’m very good at what they do"

"Once concrete starts to perish it usually. Easy its time to renew as any patching up will usually continue to blow off with frost without having pictures it's hard to say but most modern drives come with a guarantee if carried out by a reputable firm."
