"Yes definitely u need perfect connections. If not u will definitely get a poor signal. Aerials need changing every 15-20 yes they may work longer tho depends on equipment state. Don't get a cheap replacement"

"A part of an aerial going rusty can affect the signal. The will gradually get worse. It is recommended to upgrade the aerial.
