What are the best places to buy a custom made kitchen?

I'm looking for recommendations for companies that do custom-made kitchens. Quality design and fitting is important as I want it to be worth the money and last a lifetime.

"It all comes down to budget. Places like wicks and howdons do kitchens for most budgets. Also customer service from the company you choose plays a big part. There’s nothing worse for a fitter or a customer not to be able to get missing or damaged parts"

"Unlike most kitchen retailers who will only offer made to measure units and doors, we can offer a complete made to measure service making use of every part of your kitchen. It also mean there are no need for those unsightly infill panels to hide any areas that don't fit into standard sizes."
